Although Varg has been denied parole, he is allowed to leave the prison for a while to walk aroud Tromsø and visit his family: his mother, his wife, a one-year-old son and a fifteen-year-old daughter. Varg's wife is now pregnant and they both are waiting for an addition to the family. Varg owns a small farm in Telemark (Norway), where he is planning to move as soon as he leaves the prison. Thus added several new photos done by Ingun Mæhlum.

Audrey Ewell and Aaron Aites (New York, USA) are currently editing their documentary called "Until The Light Takes Us" that is featuring the history of Norwegian Black Metal and a number of Norwegian musicians in particular, including Varg Vikernes.

Secondly, regarding Varg's contact address. There used to be one at the website but it was removed in spring 2007 according to the context of Varg's last article A Bard's Tale: Part XI - Pearls Before Swine. Citation: "I planned to disappear from public view anyhow, when I was released from prison, so now I simply do it a bit sooner than I first intended to." I suppose this clearly shows that he doesn't wish to be in correspondence with the public any more; at least at the moment. No correspondence means no correspondence, including "important" questions, collaboration, interview requests, any kind of support etc.

Thirdly, about the date of Varg's parole. In 2006 Varg Vikernes failed to release from the prison. And the court session regarding this issue was then postponed to 2008. However there is still no particular information when or even whether this happens. And I don't even bother to ask Varg about it to avoid the attraction of any unnecessary public attention to this event.

The previously published information needs to be corrected. Integral Tradition Publishing (ITP) is not a new publisher of Varg Vikernes' books, but a company that took over the books that had been originally published by Cymophane Publishing and previously distributed through AHF Sales.
