The demo tape was recorded in late 1991 by Varg Vikernes on a cassette recorder. December, probably.
Cover artwork performed in 1992 by Øystein "Euronymous" Aarseth to sell the demo tape in his shop "Helvete"/"Hell" (Oslo, Norway). The burned church on the cover is Fantoft Stavechurch (burned in 06.06.1992 by Varg Vikernes). Occult symbol "horns up" is Ye Sign of Voor and taken from "Necronomicon" (Kitab al-Azif or Book of the Dead) - a fictional grimoire (textbook of magic) made up by writer Howard Phillips Lovecraft.
Equipment used: pearl white Westone Pantera guitar X300 from 1986. Drum kit from Jan Atle "Padden" Åserød (the drummer of Old Funeral).
